Hello all, I hope you’re all doing amazing because I have another installment of WBOSNA (I really wish I had a new acronym for this now) for you to all check out and draw some inspiration from.
This weeks pickings for Stick Nodes animations were rather slim, that’s why I didn’t make a new post when I should have. Sure there were some great animations, but they only lasted a few seconds, so while the quality was great, the quantity was really lacking. There were actually a few “in progress” animations that are looking amazing, but I’d rather not post an incomplete animation if the better version is coming soon.
Anyway, I managed to find these gems, so enjoy!
First up we have one by l.o.l adams, it’s an awesome 1 v many animation with really great movements, excellent foot placement and cool effects. The fight scenes in this are perfectly done too, great reactions to each hit from the one getting hit too. Great stuff adams, keep it up!
Next we have an amazingly detailed and extraordinarily long animation by Mei Yamazuki, who I recently found out is the sibling to Kaido Mation. This animation is next to perfect, I loved the story line, the detail in the character design, the subtle little eye changing color effect going on, all of it, it’s brilliant. Great job Mei, I’m looking forward to more from you!
The final animation I’ll show you is one by StickMissile, it’s also a story based animation, this one is more funny than anything else. It has the length going for it, decent animation quality but the characters are a little stiff and could use more work on easing. Other than that I loved it, it’s got some pretty funny parts, and the use of an animal as a main character in it was really cool. Keep up the great work Missile!
Alright that’s it for today, I hope you enjoyed this weeks post. If you did like it, you should absolutely comment and also probably maybe share it somewhere possibly, that’d be cool or something.
Anyway, take it easy guys, don’t forget about the forums, if you’re not already signed up over there you should and then post your animations for us to see and give feedback on, it could really improve your abilities and make your future animations awesome. Doit. Okay bye.
